I. Payment Options Policy
We accept all major credit cards, debit, ACH, and Venmo (@themadecleanco). For any payments by check which have been pre-approved by Ownership, please make payable to: The Made Clean Company, LLC
Note: For any returned, invalid/non-sufficient funds (“NSF”) check, there will be a $35.00 fee per incident/NSF check, plus any late fees if applicable. For deep cleanings and move-in/move-out cleanings, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required at booking.
II. Payment Terms & Late Fee Policy
Invoicing will occur after each service is completed. The Terms are Due on Receipt. Any invoice that is more than 30 days late is subject to a fee of $50.00.
III. Timeliness, Scheduling, & Cancellation Policy
The policy for appointment cancellation, re-scheduling, and lock-out/no-show fees, and turn-away fees, is as follows:
a. If Client provides more than 48-hour business day (Monday-Friday) notice of cancellation and re-scheduling prior to the scheduled cleaning appointment, there is no fee.
b. If Client provides 24 to 48-hour business day (Monday-Friday) notice of cancellation and re-scheduling prior to the scheduled cleaning appointment – a 25% service reservation equivalent fee will be charged
c. If Client provides less than a 24-hour business day (Monday-Friday) notice of cancellation and re-scheduling prior to the scheduled cleaning appointment, a 75% service reservation equivalent fee will be charged
d. If Client’s premise is not accessible to our Cleaning Technicians at the time of the scheduled cleaning appointment, we will charge a non-refundable reservation fee equivalent to 100% of the appointment fee. To avoid this fee, we advise Clients to place a key in a lock box and provide us with the code, or make other entry arrangements. A 100% same-day cancellation fee may also apply to: any scopes of work not matching the approved quote (i.e. deep clean needed vs. maintenance clean), same-day cancellations without rescheduling, spaces containing biohazardous materials not previously disclosed (i.e. hoarding, infestations, animal/human fecal matter), active construction sites requiring PPE, or any unknown issues preventing our Team from conducting services (i.e. relocation clean space not vacant, post-construction site with active construction).
e. If you have an illness and you are contagious, please call us to reschedule a cleaning appointment within 48 hours.
f. If one spouse cancels service and the other spouse and/or kids let our Cleaners in to clean, this implies to our Cleaners that it is OK for us to be present and payment will be expected.
g. The Made Clean Co. reserves the right to change prices, based on cost inflation, competitive conditions, and other factors.
e. If you have an illness and you are contagious, please call us to reschedule a cleaning appointment within 48 hours.
f. If one spouse cancels service and the other spouse and/or kids let our Cleaners in to clean, this implies to our Cleaners that it is OK for us to be present and payment will be expected.
g. The Made Clean Co. reserves the right to change prices, based on cost inflation, competitive conditions, and other factors.
h. We reserve the right to rotate our Cleaners for quality control and scheduling purposes. This allows us each to be familiar with your space. We do not guarantee each Client or service will be assigned the same Cleaners.
IV. Non-Solicitation Policy
Client(s) shall not contract any of our Employees directly, for provision of same or similar services as provided by The Made Clean Co. Our Employees are bound by Contract with The Made Clean Co. Employees encounter proprietary skill and confidential knowledge, and they may not work independently for our Clients.
V. Client’s Presence Policy
After Complimentary Cleaning Consultation and initial Cleaning, we request that Clients not be present for services. This is safer for you as well as our Cleaners, and it enables our Cleaners to be more efficient in their pattern of cleaning and timing. If Client is present, he/she assumes full responsibility, risk, liability, in the case of any injury that you may incur during any cleaning appointment. Special requests to be present on a case-by-case basis may be requested. The Made Clean Co. will not be held liable for a present Client’s accidental injuries in areas being cleaned, damp or wet mopped floors. By scheduling services, the Client agrees to assume all risk and all liability in case of injury to you and all other occupants who are present while The Made Clean Co. services the space.
VI. Cleaning Time Schedule Policy
The Made Clean Co. will notify via text message of ETA; however, traffic and other Client issues may affect the schedule. If the scheduled cleaner is going to be more that 60 minutes late, we will make our best effort to contact you. I understand that The Made Clean Co. may send occasional text messages or emails for appointment reminders and promotions. By providing your number you consent to receive messages from this company, to opt-out reply STOP at any moment. Msg & Data rates may apply.
VII. Observed Holidays/Sundays & Holiday Fee Policy
New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day. Unless upon request, The Made Clean Co. is available for work on Sundays. If Client requests services on a holiday and Cleaning Technician is available, the fee to perform services will be double the usual one-time service fee.
VIII. Admittance to Property Policy
When Client provides a key/s on the inside or the outside of a locked or unlocked property, then:
a. The Client releases The Made Clean Co. from all responsibility, liability that might arise from any damages or theft to the Client’s property.
b. The Made Clean Co. will not be held responsible or liable if 3rd parties enter the Client’s property, before and/or after the cleaning appointment. During Client’s cleaning appointments, The Made Clean Co. will admit our employees to the Client’s property. The Made Clean Co. will not assume responsibility for granting access to 3rd parties into Client’s property during the cleaning appointment. Concluding the cleaning appointment, The Made Clean Co. will not leave Client’s property access door unlocked.
Note: Please ensure property alarm is disarmed for the scheduled cleaning day or provide code that is unique to The Made Clean Co. to use. Our Cleaners are required to lock the doors and to not allow any unknown person(s) inside.
IX. Property Condition, Utilities & Temperature Policy
Please set property thermostat between 72-74 degrees on cleaning day. All property utilities (i.e. water, electricity w/ lights, and air conditioning) must be on and functioning for services to be completed. Unfortunately, we cannot service properties in disrepair/abandoned, active construction zones, or properties requiring excess trash and personal item removal.
X. Health & Safety Policy
All equipment, including electrical, to be used by the cleaning technicians of The Made Clean Co, must be in good working order. Please remove any clutter, or objects that are in pathways, etc. that could be a safety hazard for our Cleaners.
NOTE: Please indicate any property hold items/fixtures that are broken in the cleaning areas which could pose a safety concern for our Cleaner’s. Please indicate any property hold items/fixtures that are not to be cleaned. Example: broken shower curtain rod, weakened walls, loose floor, etc. The Made Clean Co. will not contact/touch dangerous, damaged, or any hazardous matter or black mold.
XI. Sanitizing and Disinfecting Surfaces Policy
The Made Clean Co will use both green and eco-friendlier products, along with using more traditional types of cleaning products for those tougher cleaning tasks. Highly rated cleaning products that will clean most effectively and safely are used at our discretion. We do use sanitizers, and we may use disinfectants in some cases. We will not make any claims or guarantees of what these products market to do. The Made Clean Co. follows all Use Instruction Labels of products.
XII. Biohazard/Animal/Human Waste Policy
The Made Clean Co. will not handle or manage or clean any animal or human waste, biohazard, cigarette tar or fire damage, mold or pest infestations, or hazardous material of any kind in any location. In extreme cases, Client may need to call separate company which specializes in removing the waste or restoration services.
XIII. House Pets Policy
All pets must be placed securely away from cleaning areas. Please do this prior to The Made Clean Co. entering your property.
NOTE: For health purposes, The Made Clean Co. does not pick up pet droppings. This includes cleaning litter boxes and dog kennels.
XIV. Firearms Policy
All firearms must be stored and locked away before scheduled cleaning. Any room(s) where firearms are visibly present will not be cleaned. Ensure firearms are not stored under pillows or mattresses, as this could pose a danger to Cleaners.
XV. Infestations Policy
If any infestation of ants, termites, roaches, fleas, bed bugs, rodents etc., are found on property, The Made Clean Co. is not able to clean until the infestation is eliminated.
XVI. Limitation of Liability Policy
All items of value that are non-replaceable, one-of-a-kind, of sentimental value, collector’s items, trophies, discontinued patterns, family heirlooms, high-cost, and/or crystal-porcelain-ceramic items must be disclosed to The Made Clean Co. These items cannot be cleaned due to insurance regulations. The Made Clean Co. will not be liable for items not disclosed and listed on your job order. All cash and jewelry must be removed from cleaning surfaces and properly stored in a safe place. The Made Clean Co. will not be liable for items left out, broken or damaged due to product wear-and-tear, nor damage to or caused by fixtures that are not properly secured such as pictures, mirrors, window treatments, wall coverings, lack of furniture glides for wood floors, lack of scratch covers on the bottom of furniture décor, cabinet mounted appliances, and property hold accessories.
The Made Clean Co. will not be liable for damage that is not reported within 24 hours from Client’s last cleaning. Liability will not be held against The Maid Clean Co. for damages directly or indirectly caused by non-standard company products and equipment requested to be used by Client.
Incidences must be reported with 24 hours of the cleaning. If incident is solved by Client, The Maid Clean Co. will not be able to correct the problem for you, nor will Client be compensated for inconvenience or fix.
XVII. Moving Furniture & Lifting Policy
The Made Clean Co. will not move furniture in order to clean, unless the furniture legs have sliders underneath to protect the floors. The Maid Clean Co. will limit moving furniture to only two or three smaller pieces of furniture. This will be at Cleaning Technician’s discretion as to whether or not to move the furniture that Client requests. Cleaners maximum lifting weight is 25 pounds.
The Made Clean Co. will not dispose of food, furniture, or other items that are in the way of a Relocation/Move-in/Move-out Cleaning.
XVIII. Ladders Policy
Acting according to liability insurance requirements and general safety, The Made Clean Co. will not use ladders beyond a one or two-step stool.
XIV. Personal Belongings Policy
Without organization services being pre-booked, The Made Clean Co. may cancel the service if excessive personal effects are cluttering surface and the space. A few items may be present and moved. However if mass cluttering or disorganization within the space exists preventing Cleaner to perform, we may cancel and charge 100% of the service. The Made Clean Co. will not deep or wet clean valuables, trinkets, personal objects such as electronics including phones, computers, screens/monitors, televisions, or utility receiver modems/boxes.
XV. Special Flooring Care Policy
The Made Clean Co. is meticulous and careful in special flooring such as, hard wood and laminate floors, etc. A damp microfiber style mop is used for floors that are susceptible to warping. The Made Clean Co. will not be held liable for water damaged floors. Client and/or prior other cleaning companies may have damaged the floors. Water damage can appear immediately or over several years to become visible.
XVI. Client Requested Cleaning Products Policy
If requested, The Made Clean Co. will use Client’s cleaning products and/or cleaning tools. For safety, Cleaners will only use Client’s own cleaning tools if in good, working condition. If an Employee is allergic to Client’s cleaning products, then The Made Clean. Co. will provide the cleaning products.
It is Client’s responsibility to inform The Made Clean Co. of any special situations/considerations such as: special floor cleaning requirements, the type of finish on walls, sinks, cabinets, counter tops, etc. If Client requests that Cleaners use any bleach-based products in the property, it is at Client’s own risk. The Made Clean Co. will not be held liable for any damage. We reserve the right to not use any bleach.
XVII. Attorneys’ Fees Policy
In the event that any Party (Client or The Made Clean Co.) institutes any legal suit, action or proceeding against either Party arising out of or relating to this Agreement, the prevailing Party in the suit, action or proceeding shall be entitled to receive in addition to all other damages to which it may be entitled, the costs incurred by such Party in conducting the suit, action or proceeding, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses and court costs. The place of court will be Manatee County, FL.
XVIII. Parking Fees Policy
The Made Clean Co. will not be held responsible for paying parking fees and/or street sweeping fees. All parking fees while conducting services will be charged to Client. Please The Made Clean Co. of parking fees or parking schedules that may prohibit Cleaner’s vehicle.
XIX. Service Quality Guarantee Policy
The Made Clean Co. performs high quality services. Due to the nature of site unseen quoting, if a booked service does not accurately describe the services needed (i.e. Deep Clean needed instead of Maintenance Clean or square footage discrepancies) additional rescheduling fees or cleaning fees may be added. If an area is inadvertently not cleaned or an area that did not meet realistic expectations, Client is required to notify within 24 hours of service in order to address and correct the problem. The problem will be addressed and fixed to the best ability, at Client’s next cleaning visit, or sooner, if Recurring Client. If Occasional or One-time Client, the scheduled fixed will be made as soon as possible at no charge. This guarantee is void if Client fixes the problem first and then informs The Made Clean Co. of the dissatisfaction afterwards. No refunds will be issued, only properly correcting the problem.
